Mandela Leola van Eeden is an experienced outdoor and content professional currently serving as the Field Director of Content and Community at Xplorer Maps since October 2023. With a strong commitment to storytelling, Mandela brings cartography to life through various media forms to promote conservation awareness. Additional roles include Expedition River Guide at HAINES RAFTING COMPANY LLC, Board Member at the Montana Wildlife Federation, Middlefork Salmon Trip Leader and River Guide for MT Sobek, Knife & Tomahawk Ambassador for New West KnifeWorks, Ambassador and Contributor for Rafting Magazine, and Primitive Skills Instructor with Gettin' Primitive. Mandela also hosts and produces "The Trail Less Traveled," an award-winning adventure radio series, and serves as an Adventure Lecturer at the University of Montana, where responsibilities include shaping adventure travel presentations. Mandela's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in International Marketing from The University of Montana, earned in 2010.
