Massimo Prioreschi has a varied work experience in the travel industry. Massimo is currently the Chief Executive Officer at MT Sobek since June 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Backroads from January 2000 to July 2017, where they led the strategy implementation for marketing, sales, and guest services. Massimo was also the Director of Information Services & Direct Marketing at Mountain Travel Sobek from 1996 to 2000, responsible for company-wide information and direct marketing strategy. Before that, they held roles at Butterfield & Robinson as the Information Services Manager and later as the Sales & Direct Marketing Manager, where they managed direct marketing programs and acted as team leader for direct mail projects.

Massimo Prioreschi obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1988. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The University of British Columbia from 1990 to 1992. Massimo also holds a Level II certification from WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust), which they obtained in April 2019.
