Kalia Demarquez

Kalia DeMarquez is an experienced art educator currently serving as an Art Teacher at Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District since August 2014, specializing in beginning painting, drawing, and photography for 9th to 12th graders. Prior to this role, Kalia worked as an Instructor at VinoArtist from February 2014 to August 2015 and held the position of Shipping and Receiving/Sign Artist at Sports Basement from December 2009 to August 2015. Additionally, Kalia was an ABA Therapist at Evergreen School District, providing one-on-one behavioral therapy to special education preschool and kindergarten children from September 2013 to September 2014. Kalia completed a Master of Arts in Education, Secondary Education and Teaching from Notre Dame de Namur University from 2013 to 2016, following a Bachelor of Arts in Art & Graphic Design from the same institution, earned between 2008 and 2011.
