Mountain View High School
Kim Rogers has extensive experience in education, currently serving as an Instructional Coach and AVID District Director at Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District since August 2021. Prior to this role, Kim worked at Mountain View High School for 26 years in various capacities, including WASC Coordinator, AVID Co-Coordinator, and as an AVID and Science Teacher. Kim also contributed as a Light Advisor for the Intrepid Philanthropy Foundation Light Awards from January 2018 to June 2020 and as a Science Write Path professional developer from June 2012 to June 2014. Kim began teaching as a Science Teacher at Northgate High School from August 1993 to June 1996. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis, a Teaching Credential in Life Sciences from California State University - East Bay, and a Master's degree in Education - Administration and Supervision from San Jose State University.
