Jennifer McDonnell has held various roles in the field of public relations and communications, starting with their position as a Journalist from 1999 to 2006. Jennifer then worked as the Public Relations and Marketing Director at Nevada Cancer Institute from July 2006 to December 2009. Following that, they joined Dignity Health as the Director of Communications - SRDH from January 2010 to November 2012. Their most recent position was at MountainView Hospital, where they started as the Director of Marketing/Communications in November 2012 and later served as the Vice President of Marketing/Communications from May 2014 to September 2018. In September 2018, they transitioned into the role of Director of Public Relations & Communications. In their role at MountainView Hospital, Jennifer was responsible for executing and managing marketing, public relations, internal and physician communications. Jennifer also acted as the primary spokesperson for the hospital, overseeing media strategies including interviews, press releases, and outreach.
Jennifer McDonnell completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1999. Following this, they pursued a Certificate in Public Relations at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, which they completed in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they attended Roseman University of Health Sciences, where they earned their MBA with a focus on Healthcare.
