Armando Mirande has over 20 years of work experience in the poultry industry. Armando most recently served as the Sr. Director of Live Operations at Mountaire Farms since November 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Live Operations at Miller Poultry from October 2017 to November 2019. Armando also has experience as an Independent Poultry Veterinary Professional at Supervet, Inc. from March 2012 to October 2017 and as a Corporate Veterinarian at Sanderson Farms, Inc. from January 2011 to March 2012. Armando previously held leadership positions at Tyson de Mexico, Pilgrim's Pride de Mexico, and Biomune Company.
Armando Mirande obtained their MVZ (DVM) degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 1986. Armando went on to pursue a MPVM (Master of Preventive Veterinary Medicine) degree at the University of California, Davis from 1987 to 1988. Armando later completed a MAM (Master of Avian Medicine) degree at The University of Georgia from 1990 to 1992.
