Sean Ennis

Sean Ennis is a Partner in MCM’s Advisory Services Team and a member of the firm’s Insurance, Healthcare, Strategic Analytics, and Compliance Services Teams. He brings proficiency in statistical, litigation and financial analyses. He has prepared more than 20 expert witness reports regarding sampling and extrapolation procedures, providing expert testimony both at the administrative and federal levels.

He has worked in insurance and healthcare auditing since he started his professional career in 2005. His insurance experience includes supervising compliance and financial audits of health, life, dental, disability, worker’s compensation, Section 125 plans, property, casualty and surety companies. His expertise includes claims testing, reimbursement analysis, internal audit and analysis of processes.

Sean’s healthcare experience includes statistical analysis of sampling, litigation support, mergers and other aspects of contractual compliance. His clients include self‐funded organizations, insurance companies, physician practices, hospitals, the Department of Justice and healthcare attorneys. His Medicare insurance experience includes preparing sampling plans and executing audits of more than 100 Medicare managed care and Medicare advantage plan examinations. He is proficient with the RAT‐STATS program for statistical analysis.

Sean has developed financial projections and analyses for multiple mergers and acquisitions, including the acquisition of a division of a Fortune 500 public entity. He has also designed feasibility studies to estimate the potential impact of critical business decisions, such as expanding current operations with a new service offering. He has experience with performing multiple regression analysis, modeling Monte Carlo simulations, forecasting and projection of future operating results.
