A member of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee,  Move United is a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt nonprofit organization established in 1956 by disabled veterans providing opportunities for individuals with disabilities to develop independence, confidence and fitness through participation in sports. The vision of Move United is that everyone, regardless of ability, has an equal opportunity to participate in sports and recreation in their communities. 

Move United is a national multi-sport, multi-disability organization serving more than 70,000 youth and adults annually. Move United offers programs through its nationwide network of more than 150 community-based chapters operating in 42 states.
