Hugo Burgers has extensive work experience in various sales and leadership roles within the automotive and manufacturing industries. Hugo started their career at Symplex Communications Corporation, where they served as a Technical Consultant, Technical Manager, and later as the Director for Europe. Hugo then moved on to work as the Sales and Marketing Manager for Datentechnik GmbH & Co KG, where they played a crucial role in introducing ISDN in the Netherlands and developing related infrastructure. After that, they joined John Deere as a Product Marketing Manager for the Utility Vehicle Group, where they successfully launched and marketed various vehicle models. Subsequently, Hugo joined YANMAR Marine International B.V. as an Area Sales Manager, responsible for integrating Yanmar Diesel engine solutions into OE equipment. Hugo later joined Warn Industries, where they held the positions of Director - Europe, Middle East and Northern & Central Africa and Director International, leading their automotive, special vehicles, and ATV/UTV divisions. Hugo then joined The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. as the Sales Director and Head of Europe West for Yokohama Off-Highway Tires, responsible for marketing, sales, and distribution in the EU West region. Currently, Hugo is serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of moveero, a leading manufacturer of off-highway wheels and vehicle frames.

Hugo Burgers has a diverse education history. Hugo obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from both Hult Ashridge and IBO Business School in 2014. Prior to that, they pursued Spanish Language and Literature at Instituto don Quijote in 2003. In the earlier years, Hugo achieved a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from HTS, Haagse Hogeschool in 1992. Hugo also studied Information Technology at Delft University of Technology in 1988 and Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the same university in 1986. Hugo completed their secondary education at Alberdingk Thijm College, where they obtained their VWO degree in 1986. Additionally, they acquired a Middenstandsdiploma - Economics I & Economics II, a Dutch commercial license, also in 1986, from VWO.
