Emmanuel MARICHAL

Emmanuel Marichal has a diverse work experience in various tech companies. Emmanuel started their career as a Web Developer at WizVille in 2012. Emmanuel then joined PrestaShop, a leading e-commerce software company, as a Full-Stack Developer in 2013 and worked there for four years.

In 2017, they joined Systèmes de Décision Dakis, a software company specializing in photo business solutions, as a Full-Stack Developer. Emmanuel was responsible for developing an embeddable eCommerce platform, optimizing checkout processes, and creating performant micro APIs using Ruby. Emmanuel also worked on maintaining existing applications and introduced various tools to improve code quality and documentation.

In 2021, Emmanuel joined Unito as a Senior Full-Stack Developer, where they contributed to the development of their software. A few months later, they joined Planned as a Senior Full-Stack Developer, and later took on the role of Team Lead & Senior Full-Stack Developer. While at Planned, they also served as a Technical Product Manager, leading agile teams, prioritizing backlogs, and driving agile transformation across the organization.

Currently, Emmanuel is working at MoveMate, starting in 2023, as the Director of Engineering.

Emmanuel Marichal's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Lycée Durzy, where they obtained their BAC degree in Electronics. From 2009 to 2014, they attended EPITECH - European Institute of Technology, where they completed their Master's degree in Programming/Computer Development. In 2012 and 2013, Emmanuel also pursued an E-Commerce Certificate at Université du Québec à Rimouski. In 2015, they briefly attended Delicious Insights, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
