Karen Cason

Karen Cason has extensive work experience in finance and operations. Karen began their career in 2005 as a PR Assistant for the Chicago Auto Show (Chicago Auto Trade Association). In 2006, they moved to Edelman as a Senior Account Executive. In 2008, they joined IA Collaborative as a Senior Manager, Resource & Accounting and Senior Account Manager. Karen then moved to Iris in 2014 as a Finance Director | Chicago + Atlanta, Finance Director, and Finance Manager. In 2017, they joined 1871 as a Business Mentor. In 2019, they moved to Ten35 as VP, Finance & Operations and in 2020, they joined fluent360 as VP, Finance & Operations. In 2023, they are currently VP, Finance at Movers+Shakers.

Karen Cason completed their Bachelor of Arts in English, Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2003. Karen then attended the University of Chicago's Graham School of Continuing Liberal and Professional Studies, graduating in 2015.
