Neha Bansley

Neha Bansley, LCSW, is an experienced school social worker currently employed at Moving Everest Charter School since August 2020, providing emotional and mental health support to 600 scholars and 70 staff members, leading individual and group sessions, and teaching social emotional skills to sixth graders. Previous roles include Child Protection Specialist at the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, where investigations of child abuse and neglect were conducted, and Child Welfare Specialist at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, focusing on home visits and court testimonies. Neha also served as an Intake Specialist at Thresholds, conducting mental health assessments and providing case management, and gained valuable experience during internships at Children's Home + Aid and Cunningham Children's Home. Neha holds a Master of Social Work in Children Youth and Family Services and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
