Cathal Canavan

Cathal Canavan is an experienced sales engineer currently at HeyGen, focused on making visual storytelling accessible to all. Previously, Cathal contributed to Lumen Energy's go-to-market team, facilitating the profitable decarbonization of buildings, and served as a graduate student consultant at GOLeafe, where opportunities in energy storage and strategies for commercializing supercapacitor technologies were developed. Cathal was selected as a fellow in the Included VC program, rising among thousands of candidates, and played a significant role at Marble as a venture program analyst to support climate tech initiatives. With a background as a Catalyst Fellow at On Deck and co-founding initiatives such as the DCU Startup Society and Varsity Sparks, Cathal has demonstrated strong leadership in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering, Science & Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Business Studies & Economics from Dublin City University.
