Mohamed Nanabhay

Mohamed Nanabhay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the media and technology sectors. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Mozilla Ventures since November 2022, Mohamed leads investments in early-stage startups aligned with the Mozilla Manifesto values. As a Senior Advisor and Investment Committee Member at the Media Development Investment Fund since June 2013, and previously as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Acting Chief Investment Officer, Mohamed has contributed to the financing of independent media in over 32 countries. Additionally, Mohamed's entrepreneurial ventures include founding QatarLiving.com and co-founding Signalnoi.se. With a background that includes leadership roles at Al Jazeera English and consulting at KPMG, Mohamed holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Computer Science and History from the University of the Witwatersrand.
