Tarek El-Eter

Tarek El-Eter is an accomplished Senior Security Engineer specializing in incident response, currently employed at Mozilla since January 2023, where Tarek focuses on SIEM and NDR tuning, runbook curation, and managing global security incidents. Prior experience includes roles as a Cyber Defense Incident Responder at Live Nation Entertainment and Ticketmaster from June 2020 to January 2023, where Tarek was responsible for handling security alerts and initiating incident response procedures. Previously, Tarek served as an L2 SOC Analyst at ITC Secure and a SOC Analyst at invinsec, gaining expertise in threat detection, vulnerability management, and digital forensics. Tarek holds a Bachelor of Science in Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security from Coventry University and has served as Treasurer for the Coventry University Weightlifting Club.
