Mahdi Bu Ali has a diverse work experience in the field of research and data analysis. Mahdi started their career as an Artificial Intelligence Research Intern at Aramco Americas in 2021, where they built neural networks and developed deep learning workflows. Mahdi then worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Purdue University Discovery Park, analyzing data and implementing Convolutional Neural Networks for weather prediction. In the same year, they also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Purdue University, focusing on developing algorithms for cake-cutting fairness. In 2022, Mahdi joined KAUST as an Undergraduate Research Intern, where they implemented various Monte Carlo methods and developed a new algorithm for computing the volume of polytopes. Currently, they are working at Mozn as a Data Scientist, starting from 2023.
Mahdi Bu Ali pursued their education from 2019 to 2022 at Purdue University. During this time, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science, Statistics, and Mathematics.
