Henrik Thorup

Henrik Thorup has a strong work experience spanning across various companies and industries. Henrik currently serves as the Executive Chairman at MPA since October 2021. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director at Aventine Equity Partners, starting in December 2005. From January 2013 to December 2019, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at HGL Limited. In addition, they were an Executive Director at Godfreys from November 2009 to December 2011. Henrik Thorup has also held significant leadership roles in international companies such as Pandora ANZ, where they served as Chairman from August 2006 to September 2009, and Nilfisk ANZ, where they were the Chief Executive Officer from September 1999 to October 2005.

Henrik Thorup completed an Executive MBA Course in International Business at Stockholm School of Business in 2005. Prior to that, they attended Aalborg University from 1987 to 1990 and earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration and Management, General. Henrik then pursued a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in International Marketing from Aalborg University. Additionally, in 2008, Henrik obtained a certification in the Graduate Company Directors Course (GAICD) from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
