Zane Spencer has a strong background in the field of engineering and controls. Zane started their career with Outlaw Automation in 2003 as an Instrumentation Technologist, where they worked until 2007. Zane then joined Williams Wireless Technology as a Sr. Field Technician for a short period before moving to MPE Engineering Ltd. In MPE Engineering Ltd., Zane held multiple roles, including Automation & Controls Project Manager from 2008 to 2019 and Vice President - Instrumentation & Controls from January 2019 till present.
Zane Spencer began their education at the University of the Fraser Valley in 2000, where they pursued an Electronics Common Core Certificate. Zane then attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 2001 to 2003, focusing on Industrial Instrumentation Technology.
In addition to their formal education, Zane has obtained several certifications. Zane became an Engineering Licensee through APEGBC (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia) in January 2017. Prior to that, they obtained the same license from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) in December 2014. Zane also holds the Professional Technologist (Engineering) certification from The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta, which they obtained in December 2013.
