Jason Reiser

President, Sales Strategy and Services at Mpgllc

Jason joined MPG in March 2021 in the newly created role of President, Sales Strategy and Services. He is an accomplished retail executive with over thirty years of deep experience in people leadership, strategy and change management, P&L oversight, store operations, category management, private brands, global sourcing, marketing, real estate, supply chain, digital tools, and eCommerce across mass, club, and specialty retail channels.

Jason most recently served as EVP, Chief Merchandising Officer of Dollar General, leading Merchandising, Marketing, Digital Tools / eCommerce, Innovation, Global Sourcing, Private Brands, and In-Store Experience with responsibility for sales, margin, traffic, market share, and strategic initiatives. During his tenure, DG’s stock price rose 203 percent as he led the creation of a digital division from the ground up, the generation of over $50 million in cost of goods savings in 18 months, and a successful initiative to grow non-consumables, among his many achievements.

Jason was previously EVP and COO of The Vitamin Shoppe and EVP, Chief Merchandising Officer at Family Dollar. He also spent 15+ years with Walmart/Sam’s Club, beginning in government relations/regulatory affairs and culminating is his position as VP, Merchandising, Health & Family Care for Sam’s Club.

Working in his family-owned pharmacy growing up was Jason’s first experience in retail, and it inspired him to became a registered pharmacist. He has a BS in Pharmacy from Northeastern University.
