David Eckstein

David Eckstein serves as the Managing Director at MPI, leading the Seattle office since January 2021. With over three decades of experience, David has a strong background in valuing companies across diverse industries, notably in food and beverage and investment management. Prior to MPI, David co-led Deloitte's US estate, gift, charitable, and GST tax valuation practice until retirement in December 2020. Previous roles include Managing Director at FMV Opinions, Inc., and Director of Investment Research at The Sorrento Corporation, where David initiated the investment research department focusing on growth companies in the San Diego area. David also has experience as a visiting lecturer and consultant, along with a foundation in securities analysis at Bank of America. Educational credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Stanford University, complemented by a distinguished high school education from Valhalla High School.
