Brian Nurmela

Brian Nurmela is a seasoned Controls Engineer currently employed at MPI, Inc. since July 2022, focusing on automated equipment in the Investment Casting industry, specifically in wax injection molding. Previously, Brian served as an Automation Engineer at Westfall Technik Inc. from August 2005 to June 2022, where involvement in the invention of the automation division as a startup was key. Additionally, Brian worked as a Mold Design Engineer at Extreme Tool and Engineering, specializing in designing plastic injection molds and also contributed to the design and machining of carbon electrodes for manufacturing. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.
