Diana Brainard

Diana Brainard is an accomplished executive in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as an Executive Partner at MPM BioImpact since April 2024. Previously, Brainard held the position of Chief Executive Officer and Independent Director on the Board of Directors at AlloVir from July 2020 to December 2024, contributing to the development of innovative virus-specific T cell therapies. Brainard's extensive experience at Gilead Sciences included roles as Senior Vice President and Therapeutic Area Head for Virology, as well as leadership in Liver Diseases. Additionally, Brainard served on the Board of Directors for The Gilead Foundation, focusing on global health initiatives. With prior positions at Merck and Massachusetts General Hospital, and academic appointments at Harvard University and Harvard Medical School, Brainard's educational background includes an MD from Tulane University and a BA from Brown University.
