Patrick den Elzen

Patrick Den Elzen is a highly experienced executive in the aviation industry, currently serving as CEO and Founding Partner of Arena Aviation Capital since March 2014. The firm specializes in aircraft investment management, focusing on acquiring and leasing mid-life and older commercial aviation assets. Additionally, Patrick co-founded Ducks United in 2010, a charity car rental service offering nostalgic convertible cars in Ibiza, Mallorca, and Curacao. Previous roles include Special Advisor to the Board at SGI Aviation, and Chief Trading Officer and Vice President of Financial Engineering at AerCap N.V., where significant achievements in aircraft acquisitions and sales occurred. Patrick has also held senior positions at IEM Aviation and ING Lease. An alumnus of the University of Amsterdam, Patrick holds a degree in Business Administration/Economics with a focus on International Finance.
