Head Of Operational Risk at MQube

Raza Sadiq, an MBA and IRMCert holder, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Raza currently holds the position of Head of Operational Risk at MQube, a role they began in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the National Bank of Kuwait as the Governance & Non-Financial Risk Assurance Lead from May 2021 to January 2022. Raza also served as an Interim Risk Governance Consultant at the same bank from November 2020 to May 2021.

Before joining Standard Chartered Bank, Raza worked as a Vice President in Global Markets Business Area Control at Deutsche Bank from September 1998 to November 2002.

Raza Sadiq has a diverse education history. Raza completed their International Baccalaureate Diploma from the American Community School in Hillingdon, UK in 1988. Following this, they attended Brunel University London from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics & Business Finance. In 1997, Raza enrolled at Imperial College Business School and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in International Finance in 1998. Returning to education later in their career, Raza pursued the International Certificate in Risk Management from The Institute of Risk Management in 2015 and completed it in 2016.
