George Garston

George Garston is an experienced risk management executive with a strong background in financial services. Currently serving as Head of CUSO Enterprise Risk Management at UBS, George leads the Enterprise Risk Management function for Combined US Operations. Previously, as Executive Director in the Non-Core & Legacy division at UBS, George enhanced the strategic risk management function and oversaw the wind-down of the former Credit Suisse investment bank. At Credit Suisse, George established the risk management function for CS AG Parent and identified critical vulnerabilities, while at Deloitte, George managed financial risk advisory engagements for Tier 1 institutions. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
