Mr D is South Africa’s leading online delivery service. It is a subsidiary of South Africa’s leading e-commerce retailer, takealot.com, part of the global internet group, Naspers.

We’re a tech-centred, people-focused online delivery company, delivering liquor, gifts, pet care, Pick n Pay groceries, and more to wherever you are, at the tap of an app.

Mr D is a truly South African brand, started and run by South Africans. Its origins trace back to the days of Mr. Delivery in 1992 when ordering was done over the phone from printed menus on your fridge at home. Since being acquired by takealot.com in 2014, Mr D has become South Africa’s leading online delivery business and grown exponentially in recent years.

Mr D takes millions of orders through its mobile apps, boasts partnerships with over 8 000 restaurants, including South Africa’s largest restaurant brands, and Pick n Pay stores. We deliver to more than 2500 suburbs in all 9 provinces across SA.

We are always looking to add new extraordinary minds to our growing team so that our extraordinary dreams can become a reality.
