Duco de Haan

Duco holds a degree in Marine Engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in Energy Technology and a Master’s degree in Maintenance and Safety Management.

At the start of his career, Duco gained valuable experience as a Maintenance Management Consultant, managing and leading large-scale projects around the globe with international operators, NOCs, drilling contractors and service companies. After establishing a service line in maintenance management services, his interest and focus turned to managing operational teams in Asia Pacific, the Middle East and later in Europe, Africa and Russia.

Duco gained most of his leadership experience as Managing Director/CEO of the largest independent rig inspection business in the oil and gas industry. After subsequently holding several leadership positions at a large energy consultancy, compliance and inspection business, Duco became globally responsible for commercial development within the same organisation as Director.

Being married with Sara de Haan who shares with him a background in oil and gas, Duco has two daughters, loves to travel and as how he would describe it, possesses all the traits of a true Petrolhead!
