Samir Mistry

Samir Mistry has worked in the field of data and business intelligence for over 12 years. In 2019, they became the Head of Data at Mr & Mrs Smith, where they are responsible for the company's data warehouse and BI platform, as well as re-engineering and re-architecting data pipelines and processes. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at reed.co.uk as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer and Business Intelligence Developer. From 2015 to 2017, they were the MI Data Analyst / Developer at Travis Perkins plc, where they built a scheduler to automate daily imports of data and migrated data to the Google Cloud Platform. In 2015, they also worked at Xynics Data Solutions Ltd as a SQL Database Analyst. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at glh Hotels as a Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager, Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer, and Revenue Analyst. Finally, from 2008 to 2009, they were a Material Cost Internship at General Motors, where they worked with database management and automation using MS Access.

Samir Mistry attended Weston Favell Upper School from 2001 to 2006, where they completed A/AS Level and GCSE qualifications. Samir then went on to Nottingham Trent University, where they graduated with a BA in International Business with German in 2010.
