Carolina Vargas

Carolina Vargas is a seasoned professional in social accountability and quality management systems, currently serving as the Social Accountability and QMS Manager at MRAG Americas, Inc. since September 2021. In this role, Carolina is instrumental in developing programs related to social accountability in fisheries supply chains and leading certification audits under the FISH Standard. Prior to this, Carolina held various roles at ELEVATE Global, including Social Compliance US/CAN Supervisor and Social Compliance Management Consultant, focusing on labor conditions and health and safety in accordance with international standards. Additionally, Carolina has experience as a sustainability consultant, quality assurance trainer, social compliance auditor, and corporate social responsibility adviser, with notable clients including SEDEX, NIKE, and WAL-MART. Carolina holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara and has pursued courses in Political and Administrative Science at the University of Konstanz.
