Babu S Nair

Babu S Nair is an experienced finance professional with a strong focus on direct tax compliance and litigation. Currently serving as Senior Manager at MRF since August 2021, Babu oversees all direct tax compliance processes, implements new TDS provisions, and manages direct tax litigation, among other responsibilities. Prior to MRF, Babu held several positions at ONGC Videsh Ltd from January 2012 to August 2021, including Manager Finance- Corporate Direct Tax and Chief Manager Finance, focusing on corporate direct tax and compliance. Babu's early career includes roles at ONGC Nile Ganga BV and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, where responsibilities included corporate tax compliance and local tax matters. Babu holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from VTM NSS College, Dhanuvachapuram, obtained between 1996 and 2000.
