MRI Botswana (MRIB) is a pre-hospital Emergency Medical Service (EMS) company. MRI Botswana EMS division operates at Advanced Life Support Paramedic level with direct medical oversight by the companies Medical Director. MRIB also operates Remote-Site medical services for a number of locations in the Mining Industry. MRI Botswana Ltd. coordinates its national and international activities from its’ 24-hour call centre which is based in Gaborone. In addition to medical call centre services, the call centre also provides a number of customised contact centre services to private companies, parastatal, and government departments, including a number of healthcare and social service counselling services to the community. Over the years our company has placed large emphasis in the development of people. We are a registered training centre with the Botswana Training Authority (BOTA). As such we provide corporate and private first aid and first responder training in Botswana. We are also a recognised American Heart Association (AHA) Training Site affiliated to the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa - the only such site in Botswana offering advanced level courses to healthcare professionals including nurses and doctors.
