Colin Steven

Colin Steven is a seasoned program manager with extensive experience in forensic biology and molecular biology. Since May 2022, Colin has served as Program Manager at MRIGlobal, where responsibilities include developing program plans, budgets, and synchronized activities to ensure mission success. Prior to this role, Colin held the position of Biometrics Task Lead at Worldwide Counter-Threat Solutions, overseeing a multi-site DNA laboratory system. Colin's earlier positions include forensic biologist at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, and supervisory DNA analyst at the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory. Colin's research background includes work as a Senior Research Associate at the Center of Marine Biotechnology, where projects involved genetic marker identification and analysis, along with graduate research focused on neuroendocrine systems in fish. Colin holds an M.S. in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
