Damir Brescic

Damir Brescic has extensive experience in the field of information security and leadership roles. Damir'smost recent position was as the Chief Information Security Officer at Inversion6, a role they have held since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Executive Leadership Coach at Bill Cox Coaching starting in January 2023. In 2021, Damir served as an Advisory Board Member at CISO Network and as a Virtual CISO and Technology Delivery Executive at VCO Group, LLC. Damir was previously a Business Information Security Officer at Brown & Brown Insurance from January 2022 to April 2022. Damir also has experience in academia, having worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Northcentral Technical College from February 2019 to December 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Information Security and Deputy CISO at Sentry from September 2018 to June 2021. Damir has also worked at Erie Insurance Group, Windstream Communications, and ABB in various roles related to IT security management, project management, and program management.

Damir Brescic completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Gannon University in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from David N. Myers University. In terms of additional certifications, Damir Brescic became certified in Everything DiSC and The Five Behaviors in December 2019. Damir also holds the certification of Certified Leadership Advisor from the John Maxwell Team, which they obtained in August 2016.
