Jim Kane has extensive work experience in the software development industry, with a focus on Agile coaching and project management. Jim has worked in various roles and companies, starting with Findlay Irvine in 2016 as an Agile Process Lead, where they introduced Agile Scrum best practices and continuous integration strategies. Jim then worked as an Analyst Developer at Sitekit, where they implemented Agile Scrum and continuous integration strategies within an existing team.

Jim Kane attended Edinburgh Napier University from 2001 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng. Hons) degree in Networking and Distributed Systems. In 2018, they also earned the certification of Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance. Additionally, they have completed various online courses, including "Flying Through Python" and "Shaping up with Angular.js" from Code School.
