Katja Conrath

Katja Conrath's work experience includes holding the role of Chief Scientific Officer at MRM Health since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Galapagos, where they held various positions such as Vice President Discovery, Drug Modulation; Head of Modulation Area, Research; Head of in vitro biology, senior director; Therapeutic Area Head; Director Biochemical pharmacology; Group leader; and Team Leader. At Galapagos, they led multidisciplinary teams, developed strategies for early drug discovery, and managed drug discovery projects. Katja also worked as a postdoctoral scientist at VIB, where they focused on designing projects and guiding master/PhD students in the field of camel single domain antibodies.

Katja Conrath obtained their Bachelor's degree in Bio-engineering in cell and gene biotechnology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, which they completed between 1991 and 1996. Katja further pursued their education at the same institution and completed their PhD in biotechnology from 1997 to 2002.
