John Young

John Young, III, RHIA, CHPS, CPHIMS has over 18 years of work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. John currently serves as the Director of Account Management - Major Accounts at MRO, a position they have held since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Kindred Healthcare - Hospital Division as a Health Information Management Consultant for over 10 years, from June 2009 to March 2020. Before that, they were employed at Norton Healthcare as the Manager of Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) from February 2008 to May 2009. In 2006, John lived abroad as an expatriate, and from 2002 to 2006, they worked at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital as a Compliance Assessment Coordinator (Auditor). John is certified as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS), and Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS).

John also holds an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Health Information Technology from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology. In addition, they have obtained certifications including Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS), and Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) from respective institutions.
