Alejandro Echeverria

Alejandro Echeverria has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Alejandro served as the Chief Executive Officer - Presidente Ejecutivo at Aeroman starting in 2014. Prior to that, they were the C.O.O. - Vice Presidente Operaciones at Aeroman from 2013 to 2014. Alejandro also held the position of Chief Executive Officer - Gerente General at Airman Mantenimiento Aeronáutico Ltda. from 2004 to 2013.

In terms of their academic career, Echeverria worked as a Professor of Strategic Management at Universidad Mayor from 2009 to 2012, and also as a Professor of Strategic Maintenance Management at Universidad Diego Portales during the same period.

Before their time at Aeroman and Airman Mantenimiento Aeronáutico Ltda., Echeverria held various roles at LAN Airlines. Alejandro served as the Cabin Engineering & Maintenance Director from 1997 to 1999, Ariworthiness & Engineering Manager from 1995 to 1996, and Structures Engineering Manager from 1992 to 1994.

Echeverria began their career at ENAER as an Aircraft Upgrades Design Manager in 1991. Alejandro also worked as the Commercial Director at Avant Aviation Services in 2002, and as the Director Operations Maintenance at Avant Aviation Services from 1999 to 2001.

Alejandro Echeverria has a history of education that spans several institutions and fields of study. In 1978, they attended Instituto Nacional, although the degree and field of study are unspecified. From 1982 to 1984, Alejandro pursued Ingeniería Civil Mecánica at Universidad de Chile. Following that, from 1985 to 1987, they attended Academia Politecnica Aeronautica and earned a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. In 1991, Alejandro completed the Projects Evaluation & Management Program at Universidad de Chile. Alejandro then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from 1997 to 1999 at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In 2003, they participated in the Business Development Program at Universidad de Chile. Moving on to 2008, Alejandro attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management for an Advanced Management Program. Lastly, in 2018, they attended the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education for the Executive Program in Corporate Strategy.
