James Dickson is an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer who has worked at MRP from October 2020 to March 2024, where significant achievements include leading the migration of a monolithic system to a cloud-native, containerized SaaS platform and architecting immutable infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation. Prior to this role, James was a Kdb+ Developer at Kx, a division of First Derivatives plc, from September 2015 to October 2020, where contributions were made to Tier 1 investment banks on both the FX and Fixed Income Desks, culminating in a promotion to senior Kdb+ developer. James holds a Master’s degree in Atomic/Molecular Physics from Queen's University Belfast and a Machine Learning Nanodegree in Deep Learning from Udacity.
