Carrie Tolman

Carrie Tolman is an experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and management, currently serving as the Director of Global Continuous Improvement at MSA - The Safety Company since August 2015. Previous roles at MSA include Global Engineering Manager for Product Development Acceleration and Product Line Manager. Prior to MSA, Carrie worked at Valspar from October 2008 to July 2015, beginning as a Rep II in Sales/Technical Service and progressing through the Leadership Development Program and to Analytical Chemist I, where responsibilities included method development and analysis of polymer properties. Additional experiences include mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters and serving as a Student Ambassador at the University of Pittsburgh, where Carrie earned an MBA in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
