Roman Sokolovskyi

Roman Sokolovskyi is a Senior Staff Engineer specializing in Embedded Software at MSA - The Safety Company since February 2022. Previously, Roman held the position of Embedded Software Engineer at EvoLogics GmbH from May 2016 to November 2021, focusing on C/C++, Bash shell scripting, and Python for various applications involving ARM Cortex-M0+ and ARM Cortex-A Yocto Embedded Linux. Roman's extensive experience includes roles as a Software Developer and Support Engineer at PortaOne, where responsibilities encompassed Linux systems, VVoIP, and technical troubleshooting. Prior to these roles, Roman worked in academia as an Instructor and Assistant at NTUU "KPI" and gained hands-on technical experience as a Linux System Administrator and Billing Engine Developer at Telezvon Ltd and OSMP companies. Roman holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute," completed in 2007.
