Wendy Whitener

Wendy Whitener is an accomplished sales executive with extensive experience in the cruise industry, currently serving as Vice President of Field Sales at MSC Cruises since May 2024. Prior to this role, Wendy held the position of Director of North America Sales at Seabourn Cruise Line from January 2022 to May 2024. Wendy's career began at Carnival Cruise Line, where a tenure from January 1999 to January 2022 included roles as Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, Director of Charters, Corporate & Incentive Sales, and Business Development Director. Wendy also contributed to the academic field as a Guest Lecturer at East Carolina University, discussing the cruise and travel industry. Wendy earned a BA in Interpersonal Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed a course in Strategic Sales & Customer Marketing at Wharton Online.
