Sowmya Karthikeyan

Sowmya Karthikeyan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science, analytics, and transportation technology. Currently serving as Director of Data Science and Analytics at MSC Industrial Supply Co. since November 2017, Sowmya has also held roles as Business Manager of Customer Inventory Solutions and Supply Chain Transformation Program Leader. Prior experience includes significant contributions at ALK Technologies, a Trimble Company, where Sowmya worked from March 2000 to November 2017 as Senior Product Manager in Enterprise Solutions, PC*MILER|Rail Product Marketing Manager, and Sr. Transportation Systems Consultant, focusing on transportation analysis and software product launches. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Cornell University, an M.S. in Transportation Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a B.Tech. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, along with participation in a Product Management Program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
