George Makaronidis

George Makaronidis is a seasoned professional in analytics business development, currently serving as Managing Director at MSCI Inc. since August 2012, overseeing analytics business development in the UK, Ireland, Northern Europe, and the Nordics. With extensive experience in multi-asset, fixed income, and equity solutions, George has held various leadership roles at MSCI, focusing on meeting the needs of buy-side and sell-side institutions. Prior experience includes a position as Vice President of Quant Equity Sales at State Street, and European Sales at Northfield Information Services, complemented by a research assistant role at the University of Cambridge. George holds a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Physics of Materials and a BSc in Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as a certificate from London Business School in investment seminars.
