Howard Zhu

Howard Zhu possesses over 18 years of experience in analytics and product management within the finance and investment sectors. At MSCI Inc., from January 2009 to December 2020, Howard held several leadership positions, including Managing Director and Head of Analytics Products for the Americas and APAC, as well as Executive Director in Product Management. Prior experience includes serving as Client Portfolio Manager at ING Investment Management, focusing on the adoption of systematic investment products in Asia, and as Assistant Vice President at ITG, where responsibilities included managing analytical products and consulting. Earlier in the career, Howard worked at Merck as a researcher, implementing statistical models and publishing in prominent genetics journals. Howard holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biophysics from Fudan University.
