Glenda Parata

Glenda Parata currently serves as the Manager of Client Service Delivery for the Wellington Region at the Ministry of Social Development, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this, Glenda held contractor roles at Randstad and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, where responsibilities included leading the development of Defence Shared Services strategy and serving as Principal Advisor for Strategic Programmes. From June 2007 to May 2022, Glenda was the National Manager at the New Zealand Defence Force, focusing on enhancing integrated support services. Earlier career achievements include establishing a 24/7 After-Hours call center while serving as Head of Customer Service at Palmerston North City Council from January 2001 to June 2007. Glenda holds Graduate Diplomas in Human Resources and Business Studies from Massey University.
