Mark Coulston

Mark Coulston has extensive experience in procurement and commercial management, currently serving as Product Optimisation and Owner for FMIS Procurement and Contracts modules at the Ministry of Social Development since March 2015. Leading a team of subject matter experts, Mark integrates best practices within Oracle Cloud FMIS while employing Scaled Agile methodology. Prior roles include Commercial Capability & Practice Manager, where Mark developed procurement policies and capacity, and Manager Business Improvement, overseeing a 13-member commercial team and serving on the Procurement Board. Previous experience includes senior procurement analyst at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, and procurement manager at MSD, along with contract management roles at Auckland UniServices and various positions in health services and the justice system prior to 2001.
