Uchira Lakshan

Uchira Lakshan is a seasoned professional in the field of quality assurance and quality control, currently serving as a Quality Control (QC) Systems Senior Specialist at MSD Australia & New Zealand since February 2024. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant Manager- Quality Assurance at Laugfs Life Sciences (Pvt) Ltd., where Uchira developed and implemented the Quality Management System and led validation activities for injectable manufacturing. As Lead-Technical Services & Operations at Keit Solutions (Pvt) Ltd., Uchira managed laboratory operations and ensured compliance with safety standards. Earlier positions held at Navesta Pharmaceuticals involved leadership in QC laboratory operations and establishing effective quality control processes. Uchira holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Colombo.
