Suraj Balakrishna

Suraj Balakrishna is a Senior Biostatistician at MSD Switzerland, specializing in statistical and mathematical modeling, machine learning, and bioinformatics. They hold a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Zurich, where their research focused on sexually transmitted infections and comorbidities among people living with HIV. Suraj has volunteered at Youth for Seva, assisting with medical pre-screening and teaching, and has worked as a research assistant and stock assistant at various institutions. They also earned a Master's degree in Epidemiology from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München and completed their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology at PES University.
