Qing Xie

Qing Xie is a Senior Principal Biostatistician at Novartis since September 2021, having previously held the role of Principal Biostatistician. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research Associate position at The Ohio State University College of Public Health, where data related to COVID-19 from the Ohio Department of Health was collected and statistical models were developed. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University, Qing instructed multiple statistics courses and led recitation classes. An internship at Pfizer involved proposing innovative Bayesian designs for time-to-event data. Qing's early research experience at the Institute for Behavioral Medicine Research focused on statistical analysis and report drafting. Qing holds a PhD in Biostatistics from The Ohio State University and a BASc in Statistics from Beijing Normal University.
