Carter Redd

Carter Redd is a Principal on the Real Estate team. He joined MSD in 2021 from Kiawah River Investments, where he served as Managing Director. Prior to that, he was President of Redd Land Company/Redd Bahamas Advisors, Managing Director and General Manager of Discovery Land Company/Baker’s Bay Golf & Ocean Club, General Manager and COO of The Ocean Club of Florida, and Director of Dining Services of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.

Carter earned his B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College, where he was an All-American in Lacrosse and met his wife, Gracie. They have two daughters, Taylor (Yale University) and Cooper (The University of South Carolina), and live in Charleston.
